So we know that you are important, and important people have important things to say. They also have knowledge to share. "But Dan", you might say "I don't know nuthin". There, you would be wrong. Everyone has things that they are good at. Everyone has interesting things to tell. What about your last Motorcycle Touring Trip. A neat Hunting Story. A page about your Quilting Group. A singing group could tell about their performances, and when the next one is to be. While looking up Isle Of Man TT roadracing, I ran across an Isle Of Man Christian Singing Group...real neat, and I was not looking for them at all. Lots of people would be interested in your Group, your Ideas, or your Family. If you want to tell everyone just "How Things Should Be Done", here is the way.... MAKE A WEB PAGE !
So, with the Idea in mind that everyone needs a Web Page of their own, I started thinking.....HOW ?
What if you have no money ?
What if you don't know the programing language (HTML) ?
What if you don't have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) ?
What if you don't own a computer ?
GOOD NEWS..... You can still have a Web Page ! Now before you dismiss me as just another crazed motorcyclist hear me out.
IT CAN BE DONE ! Here is how. ( It's just a bit more work now, than it was in the past. )
1. You need a computer. This is not as hard as you might think. There are several ways to get access to a computer. Your local Library. Many Libraries have computers that the public can use. Mine has two of them.
A local Comunity College might have some that the public can use. A friend's computer. I think the easiest way is the Library.
2. You need an E-Mail address. That's easy, get one on my web site.Just click HERE
3. Internet access. That's getting harder and harder to get for free. My library was on line already. Believe it or not, you can still get Free Internet access. In the USA there is NetZero,Click Here. However, there are a lot of limitations now. Things are changing on the web. What used to be free, no longer is.
4. You need "Web Space". This is no problem if you have an ISP, because they usually give you 10 Megs or so of web space for free.
There are some web space providers still around. After trying several, I found a place called Bravenet to be the best I've found, so far. Click HERE for Bravenet, and follow their simple instructions.
