Isilsulë is head strong and stubborn, perhaps to a fault. She is proud of her looks, braiding her long hair as intricately as she can. Though her family is of little rank she conducts herself as if she were a member of one of the ruling houses. Isilsulë is determined to succeed in life and whatever else she does. Determination drives her to become something greater than a simple fish captain's daughter. She knew the instant she first set her eyes on a dragon flying over head, watching the opaque wings sweeping the clouds, that's what she wanted. To fly high and free, above earth and sea and sky!

Elmíhísië is quiet and subtle. Being a good leader he was destined to captain his father's ship. While he excepted this, the sea was not where his heart was. But he is loyal to his father and his family. Elmíhísië does not have as strong an ambition as his sister, being adaptible to many environments. But he does have a constant longing for freedom. Even so he can't deny the pull of his heart to fly. To have a life long companion who would understand him: his feelings, his moods, his heart.
